Hmmm. There is this STUPID game the kids had me load called Toontown. I have decided that is crack for kids – and people like me. It is truly a dumb, kids game – but I am hooked. I really needed to finish the taxes – didn’t.
I did finish the yardwork that was needed – a little more will be required. Still planning on sod end of April.
Bike ride. Check.
Unrealistic weight gain? Check. This is really frustrating me this past week. Maybe I’ll just starve myself – or get sick. That seems to do it ![]()
Taxes. Still not done. I really need Sunnee’s help but she’s been busy as well. Grrrrr.
You’ll be able to play ‘Where is Mark?’ both this week and next week so check back to see if I post pix!
Today is Monday

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY! I went down along the Bosque – past the BioPark, Tingley Beach and the Zoo. It was very busy on the trail today. The only head wind was coming up Montano – of course.
It felt great to get outside on the bike…
I also saw my first roadrunner of the season! He looked very hungry.

Mostly windy again – ‘they’ say that the weekend is supposed to be more calm. We’ll see…
A lot of stuff to do this weekend: repair all the irrigation system that the dogs have eaten
, complete taxes, work around house, some computer work, plan next week.
Eileen told me that she got to see local resident, rock-god, Sammy Hagar at lunchtime yesterday – here’s my illustration of her encounter:

I think this is why I will not ever be hired to do courtroom illustrations…
Tune in tomorrow to see if I actually get anything done this weekend. My goal is also to get a bike ride in….

Still very much suffering from allergies – mostly just sneezing and itchy eyes. It sucks.
This is the last weekday of the kids’ Spring Break – they have spent most every day at my Mom & Dad’s – so they are very happy. I’m not so happy because I haven’t seen them much. ![]()
I have a lot to get through this weekend. Wish me luck!
Happy B-Day to: MOM!
It’s your birthday…. Happy Birthday….
To the lady who brought me into this world and probably should have taken me out of it on at least a few occasions!

Still need to work through whatever funk I’m in.
On a rare, tasty food note – Jennifer and I had a great lunch at Thai House down by UNM. Pad Thai (#30) is my normal food choice – Curry tends to enact revenge on me later. We tried something else that I could not spell or say (#32). I asked her what it was and couldn’t understand what she said. It had a flat, rice noodle, and an incredible sauce. Whatever it was – it kept me full for the rest of the day.
Gee – thanks to the magic of ‘the internet’:
32. PAD SEE-EAW $6.99
A choice of chicken, pork, shrimp or beef pan-fried with fresh
Rice noodles, eggs and broccoli.
I laugh that little 1000 sq ft restaurants have websites. They all should – exactly for times like this. I am always amazed at the larger restaurants that don’t have sites.
I had intended to do taxes last night – played Toontown.com – something that I had got for ‘the kids’. Stupid game

Not a whole bunch of sleep last night – too many things going on.
Early day started with getting things ready for a possible house-guest which did not materialize after all.
Lots to do at work today.
The accountant called and reminded me that I hadn’t given her my taxes yet. Damn. I really have to wrap them up this weekend. Received a credit card statement (thank you Discover) and they raised the rate to 29.8%! because she was late on a payment. She didn’t MISS a payment, it was just late. Actually, she did make it, they just never received it in time. When it was ‘late’ they called us and she spent $28 sending them a bank draft immediately. Then, magically, the original payment showed up on the account about five days later. So this is their penalty? I was very cranky to see that last night.
Lots to do today…
Happy B-Day to: Lucy
My globe-trotting cousin – Your Golden Birthday – 24 on the 24th!
Happy Birthday!
